This policy does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing below overrides the consumer guarantees that apply to our services by law, including your right to a remedy if a service is not delivered with due care and skill, or a major failure occurs. This policy sets out how we handle refunds and cancellations beyond those statutory guarantees.
1. Our free tools and The Fast Lane
The Swim School Health Check, the Impact Ease Grid, the worksheets, and The Fast Lane newsletter are free. There is nothing to cancel and nothing to refund. Every email we send carries an unsubscribe link, and using it takes effect immediately.
2. The Profit Leak Diagnosis ($37)
This is a digital product delivered instantly upon purchase. Because you reach the report the moment you pay, we don’t offer change-of-mind refunds once it has been delivered. If the report fails to load, you’re charged in error, or there’s a genuine fault with delivery, contact hello@swimschoolownershub.com and we’ll fix it or refund you.
3. The Automated Receptionist ($97)
The $97 buys one 60-minute live install call, and our promise is that your receptionist is on shift and answering your phone before that call ends. If it isn’t, the $97 is on us. Tell us on the call or straight afterwards and we refund it in full, whatever the reason it didn’t get there.
Before the install call is held, nothing has been delivered, so you can cancel and be refunded in full for any reason at all. After a working receptionist has been installed, we don’t refund for change of mind, and you can switch it off at your end whenever you like.
If we can’t schedule your install call within three weeks of the event at which you bought it, and that’s on us, you can ask for a full refund instead of waiting.
4. Holding a Blueprint seat ($250 deposit)
A deposit holds one of a limited number of seats in the next cohort. It is fully refundable at any time before that cohort starts, for any reason, by emailing hello@swimschoolownershub.com. No forms and no justification required.
If you go ahead, your deposit comes straight off the $1,997 fee. If the cohort is postponed or does not run, we refund the deposit in full unless you ask us to hold it against the next one. Once the cohort has started, the deposit forms part of your fee and the guarantee below is what applies to it.
5. The Profitable Swim School Blueprint ($1,997): the First Three Guarantee
Attend your first three live sessions (or watch the recordings, if you can’t make them live). If by then you don’t think the Blueprint is worth every dollar, tell us any time up to 30 days after your cohort begins, or before your fourth live session starts, whichever comes first, and we’ll refund you in full. No forms, no justification required.
The only condition is attendance (live or recording) for the first three sessions. That’s what makes this workable to run without asking you to prove anything else. We’ll always encourage you to actually use the templates and do the work while you’re there, because that’s how you get the most out of it. It isn’t something we check or ask you to demonstrate before refunding.
If you’re paying over time (3 monthly payments of $749), the guarantee works the same way. We refund everything you have paid to that point and cancel the instalments still to come, so you are not left paying for a course you have left.
Why the window is measured from your cohort’s start date, not your purchase date: if you buy ahead of a cohort opening, this guarantee shouldn’t have a shorter runway just because you booked early. Once the Blueprint moves to a self-paced, evergreen format, the guarantee runs the same way: 30 days from the day you get access, or your first three lessons, whichever comes first.
To request a refund under this guarantee, email hello@swimschoolownershub.com. Outside this window, we don’t offer refunds for change of mind, though your Australian Consumer Law rights continue to apply as above. Missing an instalment does not cancel your enrolment on its own; talk to us and we’ll work it out.
If you can no longer attend a live cohort, ask us about transferring your enrolment to the next available cohort. This is considered case by case.
6. Slipstream ($997/month)
Slipstream is a month-to-month service. You may cancel at any time by emailing hello@swimschoolownershub.com with at least 30 days’ written notice; you’ll be billed for the final month covered by that notice period. We don’t offer partial refunds for a month already commenced, since campaign work, ad management, and strategy for that period has already begun. There’s no lock-in contract beyond the 30-day notice period.
That describes standard Slipstream. Larger engagements are quoted individually and run on their own written services agreement, which may set a minimum term, a one-off build fee that stops being refundable once the build has started, and its own notice period. If you have signed one of those, its cancellation terms are the ones that apply to you, and they prevail over this page wherever the two differ. Ask us for a copy at any time.
Your advertising spend is separate from our fee. It is billed by Meta or Google directly to your own account, we never hold it, and it is not refundable by us.
If we reach capacity and you’re on the waitlist, no payment is taken until a spot opens and you confirm you want to proceed.
7. How to request a refund
Contact hello@swimschoolownershub.com with your order details and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds go back to the card or account you paid with, and how quickly they land after that is up to your bank.
